Quality
The title of physiotherapist is legally protected. Those who have completed the official study, meet all the basic requirements, and are registered in the government's BIG register may treat patients independently as physiotherapists.
Our practice is proud of our registration in the independent quality register of the Stichting Keurmerk Fysiotherapeuten (Quality Mark for Physiotherapists Foundation). This register is an independent platform that oversees quality standards within physiotherapy. It enables our physiotherapists to evaluate the quality of their professional conduct and motivates them to pursue continuous improvement.
Every physiotherapist in our practice, Fysiotherapie Douma, is not only BIG-registered but also listed in the quality register of the Stichting Keurmerk Fysiotherapeuten.
Fysiotopics
FysioTopics is committed to demonstrable quality improvements combined with the management of efficiency. This principle is essential for the sustainable development of healthcare. Care of outstanding quality must be affordable and accessible to everyone who needs it. The quality and efficiency of care are strongly interconnected within our association.
Through a fundamentally different perspective on providing care and a constructive collaboration with healthcare partners, FysioTopics is working towards structural change in healthcare. FysioTopics envisions the future in smart care pathways linked to patient-relevant outcomes. By bringing together like-minded parties, we create an innovative platform to address this challenge.
FysioTopics offers concrete care pathways to improve healthcare. Comprehensively supported products developed in collaboration with members, patients, health insurers, GPs, specialists, etc. These are sometimes entirely new pathways, but also existing care pathways that are further enhanced. The quality level of FysioTopics members, combined with continuous internal and external assessments, guarantees that care is introduced, provided, and monitored properly.

Plus Practice
Plus Practices are physiotherapy practices that not only meet all the quality requirements of their professional association but go a step further. For example, through additional programmes or by making the quality of care transparent. This allows any Plus Practice to be easily compared with other practices.
The quality requirements include, for instance, the expertise of the physiotherapists, the results of patient satisfaction surveys, a standard procedure for recording and mapping complaints, and the number of treatments for a specific physical complaint.
Other advantages of a Plus Practice include accessibility, opening hours, and waiting times. Often, care providers at a Plus Practice also collaborate with, for example, dietitians or hospital doctors, as some complaints require a comprehensive approach.
